Yarmouth Beaches

Yarmouth, Cape Cod has multiple beautiful beaches to enjoy. Beaches are open and staffed with lifeguards and gate attendants during the summer season of May-September from 8am to 4pm. Two Yarmouth beaches have a snackbar and most have bathhouses for your convienence.

Biking On Cape Cod

Cape Cod is truly a biker’s paradise with hundreds of miles of bike trails that run through marshland, coastline, rivers and forests. Take your pick of the numerous trail networks scattered around Cape Cod. Fall and summer are the best times for exploring the Cape’s beauty by bicycle.

Cape Cod National Seashore

The National Seashore is the place to visit for pristine beaches, huge sand dune cliffs and exciting surf. The National Seashore was established in 1961 during the Kennedy administration and is located in the outer Cape towns of Chatham, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown. If you visit the Cape you must visit the National Seashore.

Whale Watching

For many, a whale watching excursion is the most memorable part of a holiday. Crews leave regularly from Plymouth, Barnstable and Provincetown Harbors and most guarantee a sighting. During your outing, naturalists will help you find, identify and learn about these majetic creatures.

Fishing

For some of the best fishing on the planet head to Cape Cod. Whether you surf cast, fly fish or want to charter a sport fishing boat the Cape can satisfy the most demanding angler. Fish for Striped Bass, Bluefish, Trout, Largemouth Bass, or even Tuna. Cape Cod is hard to beat for saltwater and freshwater fishing.

Cape Cod Baseball League

Cape Cod Baseball League games are a great time for young and old alike. It has been the premier amateur baseball league in the nation since 1885. Come watch major leaguers in the making. Some of the Cape Cod Baseball League’s alumni include: Jason Varitek, Jason Bay, Evan Longoria, Mark Teixeira and Jacoby Ellsbury.
